Unfortunately, an accident during the research led to the project’s termination. Later, Will adopted a highly intelligent chimpanzee named Caesar. However, Caesar was forced to separate from Will after accidentally injuring a human and then suffered abuse in a shelter, setting the stage for an imminent war between humans and apes.
