It tells the story of Hellboy (Ron Perlman), the son of Satan, who was summoned by Nazi operatives in 1944 for secret experiments during World War II. He was later adopted by Professor Broom (John Hurt) in the United States to prevent him from harming humanity. As he grows and his fearsome appearance becomes more evident, he is sent on missions as a special investigator. During his tasks, he reconnects with a Nazi evil sorcerer and must make a choice between good and evil.
