As a sequel to “Aliens vs. Predator,” the story shifts the setting from the Antarctic research station of the previous film to a small town in Colorado, USA, while paying tribute to the classic elements of the “Alien” and “Predator” series. The film continues the main conflict between the two alien species, the Aliens and the Predators, telling the story of a Predator returning with the corpse of a fallen comrade, which becomes host to an Alien larva and gives birth to a hybrid “Predalien” with dual genes. The spaceship crash causes the Aliens to spread and reproduce in the Colorado town, putting the surviving humans in a hunting crisis, while a Predator remaining on Earth launches a pursuit to capture the ultimate Alien.
