影片讲述的是一个街头混混变成一代武术家，一个本性善良的黑帮流氓改邪归正的故事。阿星是一个自小受尽欺辱的街头混混，为了能出人头地，他假冒“斧头帮”成员试图在一个叫“猪笼城寨”的地方对居民敲诈，不想引来真的“斧头帮”与“猪笼城寨”居民的恩怨。而在观战正邪两派的斗争中，阿星逐渐领悟功夫的真谛。The movie tells the story of a street thug who becomes a martial arts master, a kind-hearted gangster who turns over a new leaf. Ah Xing is a street kid who’s been bullied his whole life. Wanting to make a name for himself, he poses as a member of the ‘Axe Gang’ and tries to extort the residents of a place called ‘Pig Sty Alley.’ But this ends up drawing the real Axe Gang and the locals into a long-standing feud. Through watching the battles between good and evil, Ah Xing gradually realizes the true essence of kung fu.
